Waikelo Sawah terletak di Desa Tema Tana, Kecamatan Wewewa Timur, Kabupaten Sumba Barat Daya, Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur. Dibangun pada 1976, Waikelo Sawah ini dirancang untuk tujuan irigasi dan pembangkit listrik. Pengadaan pembangkit listrik itu pun menjadi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Air (PLTA) pertama di Sumba ketika itu.

Review of Waikelo Sawah Waterfall. The waterfall was located quite secluded pouring out of a cave. A dam was made around it to control water for irrigating rice fields in front of the waterfall. So, the scenery between the waterfall and the rice fields in front of it was kind of divided by the man made structure of the irrigation system.
