Volunteer — Takis Shelter
Takis is a wonderful man who has devoted his whole life in saving stray dogs and cats in need. With a lot of effort from him and many volunteers, a shelter was created. More than 500 animals live in the shelter and receive health care, food and love from the people that volunteer there and all the visitors.

Takis Shelter is a nonprofit organization and relies solely on your donations. We receive no help from the authorities. Monthly food, veterinary, and shelter maintenance bills come to over €25,000, so donations are vital. Every donation, in any amount, is greatly appreciated by all the animals!

Volunteers are integral to Takis Shelter's operations.
